Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, Reagan Administration

This photograph showcases the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, an outdoor space formerly known as the East Garden or First Lady's Garden. The garden was renamed in Mrs. Kennedy's honor in 1965. The botanical composition of the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden changes with each administration and is centered on the personal tastes of the current administration. This photograph was taken in September 1987 by Joseph H. Bailey during the administration of Ronald Reagan.
